A high-contrast option, to aid with tracking the on-screen action.
A choice of difficulty modes.
Speed control.
A full one-switch mode.
Auto-fire mode.
Reconfigurable controls.
Quick start option.

These are just the sort of updates that more games should be looking at doing and show how easily it can be done. So a big pat on the back to all those involved.
